Bethany Hamilton
is fearless. In her many interviews on talk shows and other
appearances since she lost her arm, Bethany’s attitude
and courage is nothing less than amazing. Many people wouldn’t
return to the ocean after a—yes—shark attack!
but Bethany dove back in feet first. Despite only having one
arm for the rest of her life, Bethany continues to follow
her dreams of professional surfing. She inspires girls everywhere
to face up to personal obstacles and reach their goals.
