You can inspire girls to live healthy lives by helping GAC create positive and motivating programs!
In 2007 generous donors helped us raise funds to
- produce and air four TV shows of Girls Are Champions to over 250,000 viewers
- launch the GAC website and recruit girls and teens to write and get published
- engage our community of girls in the 1st Annual Writing & Drawing Contest
And we will shoot 12 shows in 2008 with your support and more than double our audience!
You can support Girls Are Champions when you purchase books and gifts at Kepler's Bookstore, thanks to Kepler's wonderful community partners and affiliate program,
- Shop Kepler's online and you donate 10% of your purchase to GAC
- Shop in person at Kepler's, say "I support Girls Are Champions," at the register and you donate 10% of your purchase to GAC
Media is the most powerful influence over youth. In a society filled with constant images of celebrities, girls desperately need healthy role models and positive messages from active girls and successful women. To combat eating disorders, depression, and obesity, Girls Are Champions can help build a foundation of living right and making smart choices.
